The GETFIT Challenge has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 2008 and its participants have achieved some fantastic results, including improved fitness levels, body toning, muscle strength and weight-loss.

The Challenges run for a 12, 8 or 6 week period, during which time participants attend a 1-hour group training session once, twice or three times a week. The challenges include 3 full body assessments, before and after photographs, meal plans and nutrition advice, as well as professional training expertise, support and motivation. There is also a chance for you to win prize money in various transformation categories in our annual competition.

The GETFIT sessions include a combination of cardio and weight training exercises aimed at increasing fitness levels and improving muscle strength and tone. The sessions are run by highly qualified personal trainers who monitor correct form and encourage participants to ensure optimum results are achieved. The GETFIT training sessions are a great way to have fun, make friends and stay motivated

What’s included

The challenges include 3 full body assessments, before and after photographs, meal plans and nutrition advice, as well as professional training expertise, support and motivation.

Full body assessments

You will receive full body assessments at the start, half way point and at the end of the challenge.

Meal Plans

We provide you with a full meal plan for the duration of the challenge

The past year I’ve been struggling with my weight and about 6 months ago I decided that I needed to
make some changes in my life. I joined the GETFIT Challenge which was hard, not only physically but
emotionally and mentally as well, as I had not cheated on my diet plan or missed a single training
session in 12 week. But it also made me a lot stronger in those 3 aspects of my life. I am not done
with my weight loss journey, which has seen me lose 23 kg’s in a year, and planning to do another
Challenge very soon.

Thank you for having us. I had a full life style change. Sadly, I got a hip and lower back injury and was
put off any form of aggressive exercise for 6 weeks, hence why I’ve been a no show for the last 3 and
a half weeks… I’m sad I couldn’t finish but even though I carried on with the diet, and I see and feel
the change, I’m not very motivated to come in for the final weigh in. I will do another 12 week
challenge when it comes available, or an 8 week one. I’m so proud of the other champs who pushed
through. Thank you to the GetFit team for all their hard work and for pushing us in the right
direction, keeping us motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
